Every sheet in October 2007
The same date always regenerates the same five questions, so a sheet you print today is the sheet a classmate prints tomorrow.
- 1st October 2007A right-angled triangle has sides 6 cm, 8 cm and 10 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 6 cm side, to 1 decimal place.
- 2nd October 200730 students study Spanish and 10 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 3rd October 2007Four classes in order have frequencies 9, 8, 7, 10. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 4th October 2007Write the recurring decimal 0.6767... as a fraction in its simplest form.
- 5th October 2007A region is defined by y < -5x - 4. Should the boundary line be solid or dashed, and why?
- 6th October 2007y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 12. Work out y when x = 6.
- 7th October 2007The point (1, 5) is enlarged by scale factor -2 about the centre (-1, 0). Write down the coordinates of the image.
- 8th October 20072 of 10 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
