Daily Practice - GCSE Computer Science
Systems, data representation, networks, algorithms and programming.
17th July 2026
- 1Translators and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)
A program compiles and runs but always outputs an average that is too small. State the type of error and explain why the translator did not report it.
- 21D and 2D Array Processing: Writing and Tracing Programs
Write a loop in pseudocode that outputs every element of a 1D array named names of length 6.
- 3Programming Fundamentals
Write a function called isEven that takes one integer parameter, num, and returns True if num is even and False otherwise.
- 4Producing Robust Programs
A 'quantity' field on a website must only accept whole numbers from 1 to 10. Which validation check identifies that 15 has been entered?
- 5Boolean Logic
A logic circuit has inputs C and D. C feeds into a NOT gate; the output of the NOT gate and D feed into an OR gate, giving output Y. Write the Boolean expression for Y and state its value when C = 1 and D = 0.
