- 13D Block Counting
A solid stands inside an invisible box measuring 2 by 3 by 2 unit cubes. The solid's stack heights are A1 = 2, B1 = 2, C1 = 1, A2 = 2, B2 = 2, C2 = 1. How many extra unit cubes would be needed to fill the box completely?
- 2Plans and Elevations
A solid's plan shows all 4 squares of a 2 by 2 grid shaded, and its front elevation shows bars of 2 and 3 (columns A, B). Do the stack heights A1 = 1, B1 = 2, A2 = 2, B2 = 3 match both views?
- 3Fold and Punch
A square sheet measures 10cm by 10cm. It is folded in half horizontally, bottom edge onto top edge. A hole is punched 3cm from the crease and 4cm from the right edge, on the folded top half. Where do the two holes appear, measured from the right edge and the bottom edge?
- 4Combined and Hidden Shapes
Shape 1 and Shape 2 are two congruent right-angled triangles, each with a base of 8cm, a height of 3cm and a right angle at the bottom-right corner. Shape 2 is rotated 180 degrees about the midpoint of its hypotenuse and joined so its hypotenuse lies exactly along the hypotenuse of Shape 1, with the shared edge erased. What shape is formed, and what are its dimensions?
