- 1Time and Timetables: Practice Set 2
Write 4:15 pm using the 24-hour clock.
- 2Series
Shape 1: a pentagon (5 sides). Shape 2: a hexagon (6 sides). Shape 3: a heptagon (7 sides). What does Shape 4 look like?
- 33D Block Counting
A solid stands on a 2 by 2 grid with stack heights A1 = 2, B1 = 2, A2 = 1, B2 = 3. How many unit cubes make up the solid altogether?
- 4Plans and Elevations
A solid is rotated 90 degrees on the spot so that the face that used to be its right-hand side now faces the front; the new front elevation becomes identical to the old side elevation, read in the same order. If the solid's old side elevation (row 1 to row 3) was 2, 3, 1, what is the new front elevation?
- 5Fold and Punch
A square sheet is folded in half vertically, then in half vertically again the same way, so the sheet is now a quarter of its original width but full height (4 layers thick). A hole is punched near the middle of the height, well away from any crease. How many holes will appear when the paper is fully unfolded?
You are looking at an earlier sheet. Today's sheet is the one that adds a day.
