Rewrite to add an adverb showing low certainty: 'It will snow this weekend.'
- 2Brackets for Parenthesis
Rewrite the sentence adding the parenthesis 'my best friend' using brackets: 'Chloe came to my party.'
- 3Dashes for Parenthesis
Rewrite using a single dash to add extra information at the end: 'She finally passed her test.' (extra information: 'after five attempts')
- 4Commas for Parenthesis
Identify the words marked by commas: 'The cake, which took three hours to bake, was delicious.'
- 5Expanded Noun Phrases
Expand the noun phrase 'the river' by adding a phrase after it.
