Make x the subject of y = 7x^2 - 6.

A biased coin lands on heads with probability 0.2. It is thrown 100 times. How many heads would you expect?

In a survey 7 households own 1 car, 4 own 2 cars and 5 own 3 cars. Work out the mean number of cars, to 2 decimal places.
