y is directly proportional to x. When x = 5, y = 40. Work out y when x = 9.

A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 24 cm and an angle of 32°. Work out the side adjacent to that angle, to 1 decimal place.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 5 red and 7 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has a minimum of 17 and a maximum of 75. Work out the range.
