A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 20 cm and an angle of 46°. Work out the side opposite that angle, to 1 decimal place.

A bag holds 5 red and 3 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Averages from Frequency Tables3 marks
In a survey 6 households own 1 car, 8 own 2 cars and 5 own 3 cars. Work out the mean number of cars, to 2 decimal places.
