A line has equation y = 6x - 6. Write down where it crosses the x-axis and where it crosses the y-axis.

y is directly proportional to x. When x = 6, y = 12. Work out y when x = 9.
- 3Similar Shapes (Area and Volume)3 marks
Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 2. The smaller has an area of 4 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 4Probability (Higher)3 marks
A biased coin lands on heads with probability 0.25. It is thrown 100 times. How many heads would you expect?
- 5Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 4, 11, 7, 5. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
