£1200 is invested at 3% compound interest per year. Work out the value after 2 years, to the nearest penny.
- 3Angles in Parallel Lines2 marks
Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of corresponding angles is 86°. Work out the other, and give a reason.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 2 red and 8 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 6, 10, 6, 6. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
