For the curve y = -50/x, work out y when x = -5, and write down the equation of its vertical asymptote.

y is directly proportional to x. When x = 2, y = 22. Work out y when x = 14.
- 3SOHCAHTOA (Trigonometry)3 marks
A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 18 cm and an angle of 35°. Work out the side adjacent to that angle, to 1 decimal place.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 5 red and 4 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 8, lower quartile 13, median 20, upper quartile 28 and maximum 32. Work out the interquartile range.
