Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of alternate angles is 70°. Work out the other, and give a reason.

A bag holds 5 red and 2 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Two Way Tables3 marks
Of 58 students, 28 study French, 20 study German and 7 study both. How many study neither?
