In a Venn diagram, 17 are in A only, 15 in B only, 5 in both and 6 in neither. Work out the probability a random one is in A or B.

Four classes in order have frequencies 11, 3, 11, 7. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.

After a decrease of 40%, a price is £60. Work out the price before the change.
- 5Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = -4x + 6 that passes through (3, -8).
