- 3Angles in Parallel Lines2 marks
Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of alternate angles is 34°. Work out the other, and give a reason.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 2 red and 6 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Two Way Tables3 marks
Of 53 students, 31 study French, 12 study German and 4 study both. How many study neither?
