For the curve y = 8/x, work out y when x = -4, and write down the equation of its vertical asymptote.

y is directly proportional to x. When x = 3, y = 12. Work out y when x = 7.
- 3SOHCAHTOA (Trigonometry)3 marks
A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 5 cm and an angle of 41°. Work out the side opposite that angle, to 1 decimal place.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 4 red and 3 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 15, lower quartile 22, median 29, upper quartile 33 and maximum 36. Work out the interquartile range.
