Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of corresponding angles is 108°. Work out the other, and give a reason.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 2 red and 10 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Capture Recapture3 marks
20 newts are marked and released. Later 72 are caught, of which 9 are marked. Estimate the population.
