A box plot has minimum 12, lower quartile 18, median 25, upper quartile 29 and maximum 36. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Prime Factors, HCF and LCM3 marks
Write 40 as a product of its prime factors, using index form.
- 4Drawing Other Graphs: Cubic/Reciprocal2 marks
For the curve y = 5/x, work out y when x = 1, and write down the equation of its vertical asymptote.
- 5Repeated Percentage Change3 marks
A town's population is 26500 and grows by 8% each year. Work out the population after 2 years, to the nearest whole number.
