Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 4. The smaller has an area of 3 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.

A biased coin lands on heads with probability 0.25. It is thrown 100 times. How many heads would you expect?

A box plot has minimum 14, lower quartile 18, median 20, upper quartile 25 and maximum 35. Work out the interquartile range.
