A town's population is 9500 and grows by 3% each year. Work out the population after 3 years, to the nearest whole number.

A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 21 cm and an angle of 24°. Work out the side adjacent to that angle, to 1 decimal place.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 8 red and 2 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 8, lower quartile 14, median 24, upper quartile 31 and maximum 41. Work out the interquartile range.
