A trapezium has parallel sides of 6 cm and 12 cm, 14 cm apart. Work out its area.

In a Venn diagram, 11 are in A only, 19 in B only, 6 in both and 4 in neither. Work out the probability a random one is in A or B.
- 3Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 4, 7, 12, 3. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.

After a decrease of 10%, a price is £54. Work out the price before the change.
- 5Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = -x + 1 that passes through (2, -11).
