Does the point (1, 8) satisfy y > -x + 7?

y is directly proportional to x. When x = 2, y = 22. Work out y when x = 15.
- 3SOHCAHTOA (Trigonometry)3 marks
A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 23 cm and an angle of 56°. Work out the side adjacent to that angle, to 1 decimal place.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 5 red and 5 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Averages from Frequency Tables2 marks
Grouped data has five classes of width 5, the first being 10 < x <= 15. The frequencies in order are 3, 16, 11, 7, 21. Write down the modal class.
