A coach travels 20 km in 1 hour, then 40 km in 1.5 hours. Work out the average speed for the whole journey, to 1 decimal place.

a is the column vector (-8, 4) and b is (8, -6). Work out a + b as a column vector.
- 3Probability Trees3 marks
2 of 10 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Averages from Frequency Tables2 marks
Grouped data has five classes of width 5, the first being 10 < x <= 15. The frequencies in order are 7, 16, 11, 3, 21. Write down the modal class.
- 5Error Intervals2 marks
A number y is 42 when truncated to the nearest whole number. Write down the error interval for y.
