A line has gradient -5 and passes through (1, 0). Work out its equation.

Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 4. The smaller has an area of 8 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.

A biased coin lands on heads with probability 0.25. It is thrown 500 times. How many heads would you expect?
- 5Two Way Tables3 marks
Of 37 students, 18 study French, 13 study German and 5 study both. How many study neither?
