A town's population is 31000 and grows by 5% each year. Work out the population after 2 years, to the nearest whole number.

Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of corresponding angles is 69°. Work out the other, and give a reason.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 4 red and 8 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Averages from Frequency Tables3 marks
In a survey 2 households own 1 car, 5 own 2 cars and 8 own 3 cars. Work out the mean number of cars, to 2 decimal places.
