- 1Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 5 red and 2 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 2Averages from Frequency Tables2 marks
Grouped data has five classes of width 10, the first being 0 < x <= 10. The frequencies in order are 16, 3, 7, 21, 11. Write down the modal class.
- 3Prime Factors, HCF and LCM3 marks
Write 60 as a product of its prime factors, using index form.
- 4Inequalities on Graphs3 marks
Does the point (-4, -20) satisfy y > 4x - 2?
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is directly proportional to x. When x = 5, y = 60. Work out y when x = 3.
