Write the ratio 5 : 30 in the form 1 : n.

a is the column vector (3, -2) and b is (-3, -1). Work out a + b as a column vector.
- 3Probability Trees3 marks
7 of 10 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 3, 12, 9, 12. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Error Intervals2 marks
A number y is 52 when truncated to the nearest whole number. Write down the error interval for y.
