A line has equation y = 2x - 2. Write down where it crosses the x-axis and where it crosses the y-axis.

A town's population is 18000 and grows by 6% each year. Work out the population after 4 years, to the nearest whole number.
- 3Angles in Parallel Lines2 marks
Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of alternate angles is 37°. Work out the other, and give a reason.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 2 red and 10 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 4, 8, 11, 3. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
