A trapezium has parallel sides of 12 cm and 24 cm, 4 cm apart. Work out its area.

In a Venn diagram, 6 are in A only, 11 in B only, 3 in both and 2 in neither. Work out the probability a random one is in A or B.
- 3Averages from Frequency Tables2 marks
Grouped data has five classes of width 10, the first being 40 < x <= 50. The frequencies in order are 11, 16, 7, 21, 3. Write down the modal class.
- 4Reverse Percentages3 marks
After a decrease of 40%, a price is £252. Work out the price before the change.
- 5Expanding and Factorising2 marks
Factorise fully 9x + 27.
