Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 3. The smaller has an area of 12 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.

A biased coin lands on heads with probability 0.2. It is thrown 250 times. How many heads would you expect?

A box plot has minimum 5, lower quartile 14, median 24, upper quartile 31 and maximum 34. Work out the interquartile range.
