- 3Pythagoras2 marks
A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 29 cm and one shorter side of 20 cm. Work out the other shorter side.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 7 red and 3 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 3, 3, 7, 7. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
