In a Venn diagram, 6 are in A only, 17 in B only, 2 in both and 10 in neither. Work out the probability a random one is in A or B.
- 3Averages from Frequency Tables2 marks
Grouped data has five classes of width 10, the first being 0 < x <= 10. The frequencies in order are 21, 7, 3, 16, 11. Write down the modal class.
- 4Reverse Percentages3 marks
After an increase of 10%, a price is £286. Work out the price before the change.
- 5Expanding and Factorising2 marks
Factorise fully 20x + 20.
