A box plot has minimum 2, lower quartile 12, median 17, upper quartile 27 and maximum 36. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Indices1 mark
Write down the value of 2^1.
- 4Drawing Other Graphs: Cubic/Reciprocal2 marks
For the curve y = -6/x, work out y when x = 1, and write down the equation of its vertical asymptote.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is directly proportional to x. When x = 9, y = 72. Work out y when x = 8.
