A bag holds 2 red and 5 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 2Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 3, 7, 7, 11. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 3Prime Factors, HCF and LCM3 marks
Write 72 as a product of its prime factors, using index form.
- 4Drawing Linear Graphs3 marks
A line has equation y = 3x - 12. Write down where it crosses the x-axis and where it crosses the y-axis.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is directly proportional to x. When x = 7, y = 56. Work out y when x = 5.
