A box plot has minimum 7, lower quartile 14, median 23, upper quartile 31 and maximum 39. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Prime Factors, HCF and LCM3 marks
Write 40 as a product of its prime factors, using index form.
- 4Drawing Other Graphs: Cubic/Reciprocal2 marks
For the curve y = -10/x, work out y when x = 1, and write down the equation of its vertical asymptote.
- 5Proportion2 marks
3 identical cupcakes cost £4.50. Work out the cost of 9 of the same cupcakes.
