Does the point (4, 19) satisfy y > 4x - 4?

y is directly proportional to x. When x = 9, y = 18. Work out y when x = 10.
- 3Angles in Parallel Lines2 marks
Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of corresponding angles is 41°. Work out the other, and give a reason.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 7 red and 3 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Averages from Frequency Tables2 marks
Grouped data has five classes of width 10, the first being 20 < x <= 30. The frequencies in order are 21, 16, 11, 3, 7. Write down the modal class.
