A line has equation y = 5x - 5. Write down where it crosses the x-axis and where it crosses the y-axis.

£3900 is invested at 5% compound interest per year. Work out the value after 5 years, to the nearest penny.
- 3Angles in Parallel Lines2 marks
Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of corresponding angles is 95°. Work out the other, and give a reason.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 4 red and 6 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 5, 5, 11, 12. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
