A box plot has minimum 6, lower quartile 12, median 17, upper quartile 27 and maximum 36. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Prime Factors, HCF and LCM3 marks
Write 40 as a product of its prime factors, using index form.
- 4Drawing Other Graphs: Cubic/Reciprocal2 marks
For the curve y = -4/x, work out y when x = 2, and write down the equation of its vertical asymptote.
- 5Compound Interest and Depreciation3 marks
£3500 is invested at 2.5% compound interest per year. Work out the value after 4 years, to the nearest penny.
