A town's population is 22500 and grows by 3% each year. Work out the population after 4 years, to the nearest whole number.
- 3Angles in Parallel Lines2 marks
Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of corresponding angles is 107°. Work out the other, and give a reason.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 7 red and 5 blue counters. One is taken, replaced, then another is taken. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 15, lower quartile 25, median 31, upper quartile 33 and maximum 42. Work out the interquartile range.
