A map has a scale of 1 : 10000. Two villages are 4.5 cm apart on the map. How far apart are they in real life, in km?

A trapezium has parallel sides of 7 cm and 10 cm, 12 cm apart. Work out its area.
- 4Probability (Foundation)2 marks
A bag holds 2 red, 5 blue and 3 green counters. One is taken at random. Work out the probability it is red.
- 5Stem and Leaf2 marks
A stem and leaf diagram has a single stem 5 with the leaves 2, 3, 4, 6, 8. Work out the median of the five values.
