A rectangle is x cm wide and 7 cm longer than it is wide. Write a simplified expression for its perimeter.
- 4Proportion2 marks
7 identical batteries cost £17.50. Work out the cost of 10 of the same batteries.
- 5Angles in Parallel Lines2 marks
Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of co-interior (allied) angles is 78°. Work out the other.
