The angles in a triangle are 3x°, x° and (x + 40)°. Form an equation and work out x.

6 identical pens cost £5.70. Work out the cost of 9 of the same pens.
- 5Angles2 marks
Four angles meet at a point. Three of them are 123°, 96° and 42°. Work out the fourth.
