Work out sqrt(4^2 + 8^2), giving your answer to 2 decimal places.

Use v = u + at with u = 14, a = 8 and t = 8. Work out v.
- 4Proportion2 marks
5 identical notebooks cost £3.50. Work out the cost of 3 of the same notebooks.
- 5Angles2 marks
Four angles meet at a point. Three of them are 86°, 67° and 164°. Work out the fourth.
