A rectangle is x cm wide and 6 cm longer than it is wide. Write a simplified expression for its perimeter.

Write the ratio 6 : 14 in its simplest form.
- 3Angles in Parallel Lines2 marks
Two parallel lines are crossed by a straight line. One of a pair of co-interior (allied) angles is 78°. Work out the other.
- 4Probability (Foundation)2 marks
A bag holds 7 red, 6 blue and 3 green counters. One is taken at random. Work out the probability it is red.
- 5Two Way Tables3 marks
In a group of 100 students, 40 are boys. 20 boys and 20 girls bring a packed lunch. How many students do not?
