In a group of 50 students, 20 are boys. 5 boys and 10 girls bring a packed lunch. How many students do not?

Write 48 as a product of its prime factors, using index form.
- 5Substitution3 marks
Use v = u + at with u = 5, a = 9 and t = 5. Work out v.
