A biased coin lands on heads with probability 0.2. It is thrown 500 times. How many heads would you expect?
- 3Stem and Leaf2 marks
A stem and leaf diagram has a single stem 4 with the leaves 0, 1, 4, 5, 8. Work out the median of the five values.
- 4Prime Factors, HCF and LCM3 marks
Write 60 as a product of its prime factors, using index form.
- 5Substitution3 marks
Use v = u + at with u = 12, a = 7 and t = 4. Work out v.
