- 1Histograms2 marks
On a histogram, a 10-wide bar and a 30-wide bar have the same frequency density of 2.5. How many more values are in the wider class?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 420 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 18 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (5, 3) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = -f(x).
- 4Velocity Time Graphs3 marks
A cyclist speeds up steadily from 8 m/s to 24 m/s over 6 seconds. Use the area under the velocity-time graph to find the distance travelled.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that OA and OB are both radii of the circle, so triangle OAB is isosceles. State the reason being quoted.
