- 1Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 620 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 6 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 2Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (3x(n) + 1) with x(0) = 3. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 3, y = 108. Work out y when x = 4.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 12 cm and 10 cm and an area of 60.00 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
