- 1Conditional Probability3 marks
A bag holds 4 red, 5 blue and 6 green counters. Two are taken without replacement. Given neither is green, what is the probability both are red?
- 2Histograms3 marks
On a histogram the bar for 40 < x <= 60 has a frequency density of 3.5. How many values are in that class?
- 3Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 400 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 6 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 4Algebraic Fractions3 marks
Write 3/(x + 3) + 6/(x - 1) as a single fraction.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
