- 1Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 7 red and n blue counters. The probability of taking a red is 7/15. Work out n.
- 2Histograms3 marks
On a histogram the bar for 10 < x <= 15 has a frequency density of 3.5. How many values are in that class?
- 3Bounds3 marks
x = 63 and y = 35, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 4Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 3 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 3. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
