- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 1.5, one 5 units wide with density 3. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 430 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 8 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 3x + 10. Work out the inverse function f^-1(x).
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 1 m/s to 61 m/s over 20 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that OA and OB are both radii of the circle, so triangle OAB is isosceles. State the reason being quoted.
